The quest for the perfect strategy, the right hashtags, and the ideal posting time stifled my creativity, leaving me suffocated and lost in a curated version of my own path.
The pursuit of a precisely labelled career led me to silence my voice inadvertently. Instead of unleashing my thoughts and observations, I found myself trapped in a narrative dictated by market trends and industry expectations. The labels that mattered most to me were those of a mother and a wife, yet the marketing game seemed determined to overshadow these fundamental aspects of my identity.
The advice to ‘niche yourself’ echoed in my ears, urging me to limit my endeavours. But I resisted, unwilling to confine myself to a single box. I revelled in the excitement of exploring diverse interests and refused to narrow down my identity prematurely.
